DIABETIC CAT BOARDING - Medication Administration of shots and glucose monitoring No worries! Having babies of our own with myriad medical needs, we are not only comfortable but also trained in administering shots and applying medications. Boarding your diabetic purry pet requires experienced caretakers. We understand the importance of a diabetic cat’s appetite, food intake, and insulin dosing. Although we try to make our resort as stress-free as possible, when cats are removed from their normal routine it can affect their appetite, and they may not eat as much as they do at home, or vomiting/diarrhea can occur. Some cats may not eat at all for the first 24-48 hours. We will do everything possible to provide the safest and best care for your diabetic cat during their stay with us.
